Soak up the local atmosphere with a walk along the Victorian promenade admiring the yachts and sailing boats in the Solent, visit the quaint shops and tea rooms and enjoy a to bite eat in one of the many pubs and restaurants.
The Isle of Wight boasts thirteen award winning beaches - one of which is within five minutes of Gurnard Pines. Across the island there are plenty of tourist spots to visit with something for everyone.
If you're looking for something peaceful, there are walking and cycling routes across cliff tops and beautiful rolling countryside covering the sixty miles of the island's spectacular coastline.
For the more active there are extreme sporting pursuits from tree climbing to paragliding, sailing to power boating, theme parks and beachside activities.
