Many of their staff return to work for In2action year after year, ensuring that guests see some familiar faces and receive the very highest standards of activity instruction, safety and guest care.
Staff Selection
In2action invests heavily in staff recruitment and training procedures. All of their instructing staff are selected on the basis of their application form, a minimum of 2 references, both of which have to be excellent, and the outcome of an enhanced police check via the CRB. All potential staff then undergo a rigorous 6 day assessment period, which tests their ability to work with children in a variety of situations. If they are successful on this course, candidates then move on to the In2action training period.
Staff Training
All staff undergo an extensive training course, where they are trained and assessed to be able to work with children and be capable of delivering the very highest standards. Staff are trained in a wide variety of activities and receive National Governing Body Qualification. All instructors undertake comprehensive pastoral care, child protection and first aid training.
National Governing Body Qualifications
Where a National Governing Body (NGB) has an appropriate qualification, all staff instructing that activity will complete the relevant NGB qualification. For all other activities, In2action staff are trained and assessed by their in-house or external technically qualified specialists. In2action work with the following organisations:
> BSAC Snorkelling Centre
> Vertex
