Here are some great ways to Change 4 Life. Why not try them all?

Sugar Swaps:
Excess sugar can mean excess energy which turn can lead to stored fat in the body and diseases like type 2 diabetes and heart disease. All you have to do is swap food and drink with added sugar for options that are lower in sugar or sugar-free.

5 A Day:
We need to make sure kids eat at least five portions of a variety of fruit and veg every day as they are packed with essential vitamins, minerals and fibre which may help reduce the risk of nasty diseases like cancer and heart disease. Try adding vegetables to favourite foods mixing them into a sauce to give more colour and flavour.

Meal Time:
We all seem to be busy these days, and in our hectic modern lives we often don't make time for meals. Rushing, making do and eating on the go all lead to unhealthier eating habits like snacking, eating fast food, TV meals and fussy eating. Make time for regular meals to help avoid unhealthy eating habits.

Snack Check:
Many snacks can be high in sugar, fat, calories, salt and all the things we shouldn't eat too much of. Many families find that setting a limit on snacks and treats is a great way of keeping a lid on their kids' snacking.

Me Size Meals:
When kids eat more than their body needs, it converts to stored fat in their bodies. So many families are making a conscious effort to serve kid-sized portions. It's common sense really.

Cut Back Fat:
We all know too much fat is bad for us. There are plenty of simple ways to go easy on the fat; Compare food labels, swap certain foods for others and make changes to the way we prepare and cook food.
