What we look for in every role is excellent customer service skills, a proactive approach to anticipating customer needs, the ability to use your own initiative and having a problem solving attitude. You need to be a team player and present yourself to a high standard with good communication and interpersonal skills being a real must.

You will also need to be flexible; the leisure industry certainly is anything but a 9 to 5 job (many of our team members love working here for that reason!) and so a flexible approach to work and working patterns is essential in a real 7 day a week operation. Weekends are always busy and we need to be ready to serve our customers efficiently and professionally while school and bank holidays are usually our busiest times so you will need to be prepared to take leave outside of holiday periods only.

Sous Chef

We are currently looking for a sous chef to join our small friendly catering team working in our contemporary cafe bar serving holiday guests, leisure club members and day visitors. Also assisting with the preparation of food for fucntions, events and parties. Must be used to working with fresh ingredients and be calm under pressure. This role has mostly straight shifts, a good salary and opportunity for the right person.

Due to the nature of our business, it is not usually possible to take school or bank holidays as annual leave, although we do aim to accommodate reasonable requests; however holidays cannot be taken in July and August.

Counter Service Assistant

The Brasserie and Bar is our all day cafe bar venue catering for holiday guests and leisure club members with space for over 60 covers and poolside terrace. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to assist with waiting on and clearing tables, preparing sandwiches and short order items, espresso coffee, serving at the bar etc. The role also involves keeping the cafe bar clean and presentable. You will need to be polite and friendly, flexible and hard working and be able to work as a team. You also need to be able to work on your own as on morning and mid-afternoon shifts there may only be one team member working. Evenings and weekends essential in this role.

Events Waiting Staff

We require enthusiastic team members to work during evenings at our functions serving guests, clearing tables and working at the bar. Our events business is growing strongly and we now require additional team members to help us deliver an outstanding service to our guests. This is an as and when required contract and you will be given plenty of notice for available shifts.

Lifeguard

We require an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard to assist in the day to day running of our leisure club swimming pools. Candidates must hold their NPLQ certificate and have up to date training records. You will have excellent customer care skills and offer a high standard of service to guests in line with company policies.

Shifts include evenings and weekends with our usually shift pattern being 7am to 2pm and 2pm to 9pm.

Accounts Assistant

We are currently recruiting a conscientous individual to join our small resort accounts team. You will have an indepth knowledge of Sage Accouting and Sage Payroll. You will also have an AAT part qualification or full AAT status and this will be matched with strong IT skills with experience with Microsoft Excel.

Your role will be to assist the Finance Manager with day to day accounting as well as the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts, controls and analysis for operational purposes. You will be expected to maintain a pro-active approach to business analysis and detailed information. You will have a strong combination of technical accounting ability, commercial awareness and empathy for an environment in which customer service is paramount.

This role can include flexible working days/hours in negiotation with the Finance Manager, but due to the nature of our business, it is not possible to take annual leave during January and February.
