"I would recommend this holiday for people with young children who want a great time for the kids but a peaceful and relaxing time when the kids have gone to bed! The play areas were superb and the kids were exhausted by the end of the day. We then got to sit and chill out to the sounds of nothing other than nature... bliss!"

"Gurnard Pines is a great place to go to with young children. The facilities were excellent and my kids loved the holiday club - they were only booked in for mornings but wanted to go for the whole day! The pool, the playground and the softplay "monkey mansion" were a great hit, and as the island is small it was really easy to have lots of trips out. A great place, great value for money and I will definitely recommend it to others!"

"This was a great base from which to explore the island, the accommodation was spacious and comfortable, and the resort has got the balance right between relaxation whilst having enough to do for the kids just right. Review websites

The social networking revolution means that you can find reviews of Gurnard Pines on the internet, many of which are on Tripadvisor. At Gurnard Pines, we actually like Tripadvisor as it gives us the opportunity to respond to individual reviews and put our point across. In fact we do! Because our customers have taken the time to post a review, we take the time to reply. We have had many comments from customers booking that our replies to reviews are what actually gave them the reassurance to book - that and the fact they liked the answers!

If you had a great holiday, we'd urge you to post a review on Tripadvisor or to contact us and we can add your comments to this page. You will also receive an online questionnaire to complete after your holiday.

If your stay didn't quite meet your expectations, or there was something you think we could do better, then we'd hope that you let us know during your holiday so we can take remedial action where possible. If you didn't, then in the first instance we urge you to write to us after your holiday. Many of the reviewers on Tripadvisor didn't make us aware during their holiday and as you can read from the replies, often if they did we could have done something about it whilst they were on holiday with us.

So feel free to take a look - but as Tripadvisor say themselves, do remember for each negative review there will be hundreds if not thousands of satisfied customers... or we wouldn't still be a leading provider of self-catering holidays with an ever increasing number of repeat customers!
