Gurnard Pines Resort, Conference and Leisure Club is located in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Cowes being a long established sailing capital is frequented by International sailing crews and visitors who expect top quality accommodation.

Cowes hosts the biggest and oldest sailing regatta in Britain. Famous faces mix with visitors and locals. Alan Titchmarsh, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Shirley Robinson and even Jude Law has been spotting savouring a quiet pint. Cowes high street is filled with traditional pubs and shops selling all manner of artifacts.

For the active, Cowes is the epitome of watersports, from yacht racing to dinghey sailing, kite surfing, kayaking, jet skiing or for the more traditional, simply swimming.

By day a walk to Gurnard is perfect, following the sea watching the yachts racing in the Solent - so close you could almost touch them. A 20 minute walk is rewarded with the most glorious sunset, there is nothing better than watching the sun go down over the sea.

Heading further afield, the Isle of Wight is known as the Garden Isle, where the sun shines for than 250 days a year, for an average of seven hours a day in Summer, with miles of safe sandy beaches, numerous places of interest and some of the finest panoramic views. Just 23 miles across and 13 miles down, explore the unspoilt coastline and countryside. In the north of the Island set in 50 acres of gently sloping woodland, Gurnard Pines is ideally situated for exploring the Island, and only a few minutes away from the international yachting mecca of Cowes. Surprisingly easy to get to, a short ferry crossing brings you to a different world.
