Before you arrive
We recommend that, where possible, you pre-book your Leisure Passes, Action Passes, any hire goods such as cots, highchairs or towels, any activities or extra services such as In-Lodge Therapies to avoid disappointment.
Activities and classes in the The Leisure Club at Gurnard Pines can be pre-booked by calling 01983 292395 (please press option 1). Please quote your holiday reference number when booking.
Leisure Passes
Club level membership is included in the holiday price for each guest and are your passport to a whole range of sports and leisure activities. These passes are issued on arrival. For the duration of your stay you are entitled to:
> Access to the indoor swimming pool
> Access to the outdoor swimming pool (open 22 May to 4 September 2009)
> Access to the Monkey Mansion indoor soft play area and outdoor adventure playground
> Reduced price entry to local attractions such as the Isle of Wight Steam Railway
You can upgrade your Leisure Passes to include a whole host of extra sports activities:
> Upgrade to Executive to add in access to the gym, fitness studio and tennis courts for £10 per person
> Upgrade to Premier to add in all Executive benefits plus all fitness classes for £15 per person
Action Passes
This is your key to a whole range of sports and leisure activities with our specalist partner In2action, for activities held at the resort. These activities incur a moderate extra charge but you can save 25% off the price and get priority activities booking when you book your Action Pass with your holiday. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STAYING AT GURNARD PINES
Your Holiday Home will be cleaned and ready by 4pm on your day of arrival
You may arrive from 10am on your arrival day and make use of the facilities and activities that we have here. Please check-in at Reception on arrival to collect your Leisure Passes to use the facilities.
Late arrival
If you expect to arrive after 7pm, please contact our Reservations Team on 01983 292395 to make arrangements to collect your keys.
Beds are made up for your arrival
Bed linen is included in your holiday price, although if hiring a cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. If you require a change of bed linen during your stay, this is available for a charge of £20 per Holiday Home.
Are towels provided in Holiday Homes
Please bring your own towels and beach towels. If you have a young child, you may wish to bring a bath mat. Towels can be hired from Reception for £5 per towel.
Cots and highchairs
These are available for £10 each per week or short break. These can be pre-booked by calling our Reservations Team on 01983 292395 (subject to availability). Please bring your own cot linen as we are unable to supply this.
Special requests
If you have a preference for a location you can make a special request when you book and we will do our best to secure it for you (subject to availability, special requests are not guaranteed).
All our Bungalows and Pine Lodges are now non-smoking
Smoking is permitted on verandas but please dispose of your cigarette ends hygenically.
Pets are not allowed at Gurnard Pines or in any of our Holiday Homes
This is due to a Conservation Order covering the rare red squirrels which live in our woodland. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are permitted by need to be pre-booked by calling our Reservations Team on 01983 292395 - in order to meet the Conservation Order we will require a copy of the guide/assistance dog's documentation in before we can confirm your holiday booking.
Holiday Homes must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure
You are welcome to continue to the the facilities at the Resort until 6pm but please move your car to the main car park and ensure your accommodation is vacated so that we may prepare it for the incoming guests.
Vehicles & Parking
Gurnard Pines is intended for relaxing family holidays. We are able to accommodate one vehicle per Holiday Home parked next to or very near to your unit; additional vehicles may need to be parked in the main car park at The Leisure Club. No motorcycles, quad bikes or scooters are permitted without express prior written permission from the Resort's General Manager. We do not accept transits or other similar commercial vehicles, although purpose designed minibuses are permitted. Whilst we do have parking space in the main car park for trailers or boats, we are unable to supervise these and accept no responsibility for their care. The speed limit throughout the Resort is 5 miles per hour and for safety reasons we respectly request that this is observed at all times.
Gas, water and electricity are included in all holiday prices.
